Katate mochi kokyu nage ni
one wrist grasp breath throw #2
- LF 180 degree pivot, LF & LH shuffle out and RH cuts to elbow as C/S on RF

Shomen tsuki kote kokyunage
front punch wrist breath throw
- LF (or CS into LF) as uke punches
- RH cuts the outside of Uke's punching forearm and as pivoting out 90 degrees, Shite's wrist goes under and over uke's wrist to flip. (Shite’s arm maintains contact to control uke, too fast results in uke’s arm slips away)
- Uke needs to turn around quickly and square up shoulder & hips in the direction of own wrist to flip properly

Katate mochi Kaiten nage Ni
One wrist grasp rotary throw #2
- LF to RF, uke RH pushes
- Shite pivots 180 degrees than shuffles out LF as LH raises above head & RH atemi to face
- Shite's RF C/S under uke's extended R arm, than pivot 180 degrees with short shuffle back as LH is lowered down to own L thigh (this movement is important to get uke to bend)
- Shite's LH turns palm up to grasp/cup uke's R wrist before raising L arm to push uke's arm across his back in direction of his outside shoulder while RH is cutting down on the back of uke's neck and LF C/S forward to throw. (This motion is rotating both arms simultaniously - one arm up and forward & other arm down and back)

Kamae - Basic Stance
Migi hanmi kamae - Right hand stance
Hidari hanmi kamae - Left hand stance

- arms are relaxed same as when at side, keep shoulders down and relaxed
- hands together at chest height, hands remain in body centre line
- (lead) upper hand remains at chest height with pinkie finger parallel to mat
- lower hand moves to waist height (one fist away from body) and index finger is parallel to mat
- all fingers are spread out
- move into kamae by pushing off from rear foot and shuffle on lead foot

seiza (kneeling position) to kamae 3 steps
1. up on toes, pull in (back) knees (hands resting on upper thigh)
2. RF on mat, R knee bent as hands are in kamae
3. push up from R knee

Hiriki no yosei ichi
Elbow power #1
pushing off from rear foot
shuffle forward and down, do not raise foot to step, shoulder level should be on one plane. Do not shuffle in rear foot
push hips forward to pull in the rear foot (heal down)
hands circle up to forehead
- hands should not obstruct own view
- lead hand's thumb should almost touch the forehead
- lower hand should be in front of lead hand (holding a sword)
- keep elbows in

Hiriki no yosei ni
Elbow power #2
- flexible lead knee
- turn hips to move knee and foot
- shoulders remain on the same plane throughout movement

Bukiwaza: Weapons Technique
6 movements w/ partner

- from Hidari hanmi kamae/Left hand stance (hands at one third position on jo & jo held centre of body and vertical)

jodan - top hand grabs bottom of jo as shuffle back, bottom of jo is raised above forehead (do not obstruct own view with hands). Jo is held at 45 degree angle and aligned straight with centre of body

hasso - bottom hand slides down to bottom of jo as shuffle back, bottom of jo is raised to shoulder (beside head) and top hand/arm is nearly extended (ensure knuckles of top hand is up) Jo is vertical

yaku hasso - bottom hand (thumb down) grabs top of jo as shuffle back, bottom hand moves to shoulder (beside head) and top hand/arm is nearly extended (ensure knuckles of top hand is up) Jo is vertical

- following front strikes are to centre of uke's forehead as shuffling O/L than C/S forward to get back to LF kamae and jo is back into one third position, shuffle back to starting point

- when doing movements to other side, C/S back as raising jo up to strike and after strike, shuffle forward to chase uke back.
